My Darling Darwin

My Darling Darwin, originally uploaded by RussellDornan.

After visiting my erstwhile place of work not only was I a little sad to say goodbye to my ex-colleagues but I was surprised by how sombre I felt at having to leave the Natural History Museum and all of its treasures.

It is truly a wondrous place; something that is easy to forget when you spend most of your waking week there surrounded by ignorant tourists and chavvy families, many of whom don't seem to grasp exactly what the museum means.

I took a few photographs for posterity and thought it was timely to plop one on here, as a nod to a place that was so central to my life in London and one that I was very lucky to work at.

Bye bye Natch!
