Just in case some have strayed here from nicer, normal sites and find themselves confused and a little afraid I shall shed some proverbial light on the situation.
My name is Russell and I am a boy from a small 'town' in Scotland. It was cold there most days, except for a few hours in July, which is just how I like it. The slatey, mossy, snowy surroundings were quite an amazing part of the country to be from and live. I moved away when I was 18 to make my way in life: first stop, University. After an ace three years at Royal Holloway in Surrey, and some brief traveling (during which I returned home now and again) I then moved to London with two of my best friends. Whilst there I worked at the Natural History Museum and made some interesting friends and had lots of fun.
This has recently come to an end and although I am very sad to not be there, the next year or so should be pretty fruitful. I am heading to Canada with one of my erstwhile flatmates to make a name for myself. Or at least some money while exploring the rugged countryside and exciting cities. This is the reason for this blog (or blob). If anyone cares about what I might be getting up to they can pop over to this page and check if I have written anything. I aim to update this regularly and although I can't think of many people who will be following it particularly closely, please forgive me if I don't.
I am very much looking forward to my trip but I will be leaving some special people behind (such is life). Let's consider those who will not see me regularly, and how this may detriment their lives (it's not all about me, you see).
