Work Authorisation APPROVED

I can now officially (like, proper, totally, no going back, gimme a job please thanks) work in Canada.

I emailed Bunac my insurance information and flight details and they have sent my work authorisation letter to me in hard copy and electronically. I have the electronic one (it's the future) and have read it (no flies on me). It basically says:

"Um, yeah he can work or something. Make sure he's bringing enough cash in, though. Am I wearing enough plaid?"

There are conditions to my being allowed in, however:
  1. Proof of W.A. (see above)
  2. Proof of Return Flight (so I don't overstay your welcome - as if)
  3. Proof of Funds ($1000, minimum)
Let's see: #1, check! #2, check! #3, shiiiiiit. I guess I am still sort of working on this last one but I don't have much time left. I am kindly accepting donations (of any kind, in fact) so please be generous. I accept cash, cheques and Paypal. Much appreciated.

I guess now all I have to do is save and pack. ('Save and pack, bring the freshness back'.) Any advice on shoe types suitable for a country with every type of ecosystem and terrain and weather and event and sport would be nice. I need a combo of three styles that will suit each and every need I may encounter.

Anyway - I am off to sit by the letterbox and wait for all my money-based presents to drop onto my head like concussive gifts from the gods (that's you guys, that is).

Bombs away, folks...
