Sarah and Russell

15/04/2010     Hello Sarah!

How are you doing?  I hope you are being a good girl for mum and giving Mister Mac a lot of attention.  Is he being a good boy?

I am having a nice time, although I miss you very much.  Everything here is SO big! All the buildings and cars and food and everything are huge.

What are you and Mummy getting up to this weekend? Are you doing anything nice? I'm not sure what I will be doing. I am happy to just take it easy because my bags were very heavy and flying for a long time can be quite tiring.  Can you send me an email and let me know what you get up to? Since I am away and am telling you, I would love to know what you're doing.

I saw a squirrel today, it was black. Ceri stopped to say hi to it and it climbed down the tree and came right up to us. It was very cute. I am going to bed now but hope to hear from you soon. Love you lots and lots, and miss you loads. Speak soon, plum! xxx

16/04/2010  Hi Russell,

What is it like there? Did the squirrel lick you and Ceri? It would be really funny if it licked you both. What are you having for your tea tonight with Ceri?

Love Sarah xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It was lovely to speak to you earlier and to see you.  It is very nice here. It is warm and sunny at the moment, and all the people are friendly.  Ceri and I thought the city was really cool - there are loads of really tall buildings that make your neck hurt if you try to look right to their top.

The squirrel was very well behaved and did not lick either of us.  It came quite close and we were a little bit wary of it, because sometimes squirrels can nip.  The little guy just hopped away, though, so it was fine. It would have been funny if we had been licked!  How is your bird spotting going? Have you got any other species to add to your list?

I think tonight we are having a pizza that Kath bought from the shops today. It is covered in vegetables so it should be really tasty. What did you have?

Let me know what you get from the car boot sale tomorrow; I hope you find some bargains! Love you and miss you lots too xxxxxx

Hello Sarah!  I have not been able to watch Doctor Who because we don't get it here in Canada (I probably can find it somewhere to watch but haven't yet).  Was it good then?  Were the Daleks scary?

Did you get the Polly Pockets from the car boot sale? Did mummy get any bargains?

Ceri and I have been going shopping too.  Everything is really big here, including the shops.  It's like the retail park in Malvern but 10 times as big!  And everything is really far away from everything else. Ceri and I are walking a lot which is good and it's been lovely and sunny.

We're still looking for jobs and hopefully will get something soon.  How's school? Are you enjoying being back?

Love you lots, Russell xxx

Hi Russell,

How are you I've moved up to black for reading i'ts really easy for me.
On Thursday I jumped in the swimming pool and Fiona gave me £1 for being brave and Mum gave a blue nose teddy.

At school on Friday it was ST Matthias Day and the activity was an agility course and I did in 1min 45 secs and raised £ 29 in sponsorship money for the school to buy games. I would like to play the snakes and ladders game.

As the weather has very very nice I've been playing in the garden on my bike and fixing my pedals as they were very very stiff to pedal on and my scooter.

Taking Mac for a walk on the common now don't want to go.

Lots of love from
Sarah and Mac

Hi Sarah (and Mac)!

Wow, black!? Is that the best you can be? What comes after black? You are a very good reader, and especially good at typing too. I was very impressed when we had a chat on MSN.

So is swimming still going well? Are you remembering to breathe regularly instead of stopping? I wish I got a pound for being brave! Maybe Auntie Fiona will send me one? Does Honey still come along to watch you swim and are mummy and Fiona swimming too?

£29 is an awful lot of money.  I can think of lots of cool things I'd like to buy with that. I suppose it's best that school got the money, and hopefully you can play the snakes and ladders game soon. I love going up the ladder but the snakes can be tricky devils!

Mac enjoys his walks, though, and I think a big part of that is that you're there too, so he might be sad if you stayed at home. Plus you're still a bit wee to be left in the house alone.  Did you have a nice walk? See any birds?

I got your card today. I was very surprised! It was green which was nice and when I opened it I got covered in glitter! Bright green glitter everywhere! It was very sparkly.  I loved my card, thanks; green and handmade.  It's very special. I gave Ceri the glittery gift you popped in for her and I have mine on my bookshelf. I've got to be careful that I don't end up with glitter all over the place!

I haven't really been up to anything else, other than working. Ceri and I went to a party on Saturday night in a hotel and met lots of nice people. On Sunday I went to an Art Gallery where I will be giving them some of my own pictures and they will hang them up for lots of people to see. I hope people like them...

Can't wait to chat to you properly. I hope you're feeling better than you were the other day and that Mac is behaving. Make sure you both keep an eye on mum for me. Don't let her get out of hand!

Love you both very much, speak soon!
